as the title suggests 1970 Deluxe Tintop Baywindow...........
its a Nevada import which I brought in some 2 yrs ago, had the intention to put it on the road for myself but lack of time, money etc. Absolutely rock solid and running driving etc. brakes been fully overhauled etc etc
come grab yourself a nice solid early bay - respray it and flog it on for twice as much. Have too much on at the mo to do this myself.
if your interested then give me a call on 07971 339490.

so if you are trying to sell something you have no manners.

Don't be rediculous! I just think that if you sign up to a forum it's polite to say hello to everyone before you offer something for sale - regardless of whether or not you might think people would like to see it.

If you walk into a strangers house for the first time would you request a cup of tea before introducing yourself? Like I say, it's manners...

It's interesting to note that your first post was also to offer an item for sale... enough said

;)

Not wishing to get into an arguement here but if everyone has to have a first post and i decided to wait until i had something that i regarded worth posting. I am quite new to the site and did not realize you had to post a certain number of comments before you were allowed to post an item for sale. I for one like to see what other people have on offer. If people don't post items they think people are interested in there is no forum.

There's no rule to state that you MUST say hello first, I (and others) just think it's polite to do so. I wouldn't want anyone to sit on the sidelines because they didn't think they had anything to say that was worth posting - I do, however, think that a simple 'hello' is worth posting - it only takes a minute and sets a friendly tone for the forum.

I can appreciate that you don't want to get into an argument over this, and I certainly wouldn't want to put anyone off using the forum (the more the merrier etc), but I don't, and can't agree with your views. In the interest of forum friendliness I'd rather agree to disagree and leave it there...

;)
