Hi Guys.

After years of Golfs and various Subaru's I was searching for a new project (911 classics out of my budget) this popped up for a bargain 1k (friend of a friends Mum).

Fell in love with it instantly mainly because it was a low light model. At the same time the bodywork scared me a little.

Ive done a lot of mechanical work, carbon fabrication and some bodywork but never welded before.

Looking forward to sharing the ups and downs as I go. So far Ive stripped the interior and treated myself to the Haynes resto book which is superb it seems.

1st purchase was 1/4 light glass and x3 windows all drivers side. Vandalised and sat for 5 years+ which is a shame.

Wasted half a day on trying to fit drivers side rear window. Lots of cursing later Ive failed. Seems near inpossible to get all the rubber in the opening, always end up only 3 sides in. Any tips guys?

Just a bit of stripping today. See what lurks beneath.
