Well done on the sliding door mechanism :D

Only 5 years - just an upstart

Oi, I haven't had a day off in 20 days, before that I was just being lazy.

Todays spending includes a roof seal kit (ebay bargain)
Paid for horse shoe plates.

Oh and a couple of rattle cans in L90D for the interior.

Still waiting for my opening front quarters, should be any day now.

More photos coming soon

Todays job was sorting out the cargo floor

Big wire wheel on the drill and some 380 grit paper, then a coat of the red stuff.

Took out the rear heater vents so i could treat underneath them, removed the remaining dormobile rear roof lining (hardboard). Also sanded the interior window area ready for a nice coat of L90D (fooking £18 for 400ml  )

its going to look stunning! Love that colour -can't wait to see that colour against the bumpers/wheels and roof!

I had better hurry up and fit them then lol. Bumpers are still a sort of rust colour at the moment haha

Todays efforts consist of ........

Rub down dash front, couldn't help a trial fit of my screen (plenty of dremmel action on the sides) :)

Thanks to all the overtime i did last month and Guy at Slamwerks I am now awaiting my king and link beam with drop spindles. Very exited :)

Also rang Dormobile and ordered the new bellows, skylights and the 300.000 tiny bolts you need to fit everything together haha went for the green and white stripes as originally fitted.

So a shed load more money spent on this old bus

Got these little gems for a bargain price

What ya think?

Thought that was rikki james's old one til I saw the reg. That van may have sat next to mine at the Dormobile factory back in 1970 when they were converted. Sure is a nice colour even if I do say so myself.

Slamwerks delivery came today, pics to follow :)
