VW Westfalia T2 Early Bay Campervan 'Rupert'
1970 RHD (South African Import) with poptop
Savannah beige, lowered to a very usable height (approx 3"), with 15" polished Fuch replicas.
Interior retrimmed (red vinyl front seats, grey cloth rear) magnetic blinds included. 3/4 rock and roll bed, side wardrobe, kitchen unit with fridge / buddy seat / storage.
1600tp engine with electronic ignition which has proven reliable over the past 6 years we have owned the van - it has taken us throughout Europe, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovenia, Austria, Italy, France...
He has 240v connection (plug in engine bay), leisure battery, fridge (12/240v). 3/4 Rock & Roll Bed together with bed in roof.
He was MOT'd in March although will be exempt when the new rules come in, Tax is exempt. Steering rack pivot was welded as part of the previous MOT together with a tune up by Balls'd.
The interior has changed slightly since the photos the wardrobe has been re-finished in a camper wallpaper (photo to be updated)
I'm not going to say he is perfect but it is ready to be enjoyed for the summer - I do have a number of spares to go with the van.
He has provided us with many memories but just seem to be using him less and less so needs to go to someone who can enjoy it and make some happy memories.
