10,000 WITH 1776 engine putting out 99bhp

Will come with stock black wheels with good tyres.

So, solid, unwelded except for chassis notches, tubs up front and battery tray.
Slamwerks 5" k&l beam with flipped spindles
Creative adjustable spring plates
Danbury interior with nice fake blue leather cushion
Westy style roof needs sunroof fixed to finish
Leisure battery
CSP shifter
Perfect patina, this is one tough looking bus!

Engine (if required)
1776, stock heads ported and polished
Dellorto 40mm carbs with CSP linkage and filters and ram pipes (have spare jets too)
Scat polished and balanced crank
Berg 125 rockers
Wide mouth pushrod tubes with cromoly pushrods (they don't expand so you can set valves to 0 lash if you want...)
Straight cut gears
Engle 110 cam
AS41 case
External 40 row cooler with Jaycee reusable filter
Empi Streetmax header with Bugpack Mondo muffler
Custom oil lines specifically for a bus
CB Carter rotary pump
All correct tinware
I probably forgot some stuff

This engine is the complete package, ready to go. Can be seen running - Has only done a few hundred miles since being rebuilt.
It would cost in the region of 4,000gbp to have built properly.

I am willing to sell it seperately for 3,000gbp

Serious enquiries only please 07921 563655

Thanks, Ollie

Will consider a trade with cash my way for an early bug on the bus. :)

I went in this bus for the first time at the weekend an I can seriously say the whole bus is wicked :)

It rides extremely well and as for the engine, I'd have bought it straight away if I could have persuaded the wife :(

I think with or without the engine, it is a fantastic and realistic price...good luck with the sale & I'll keep working on lisa :)

Would also consider trade for a nice squareback (Ted, you listening?!) :msn4:

Forgot to say, engine is totally dry, I will even pay for the first hour of a rolling road session for the buyer.

Obviously it now has truck mirrors instead of the stock ones.

Danbury interior has a working cooker included and has plenty of storage space. It folds out into a big double bed, even more room if you take the sink out (which isn't plumbed in).

Also, the sunroof if mostly all there, the handle is present as are all the cables, but it needs work to get working again. (At the moment it is sealed with gaffa tape but I reckon a days work would get it working).

I have also noticed the rear neads a pair of new axle gaitors, but the CV joints are fine and do not groan or whine. Similarly, the gearbox is all good and the shift is really nice thanks to all new bushes and the CSP shifter.

I also have a bunk bed for the front cab area which I have fitted slightly differently so as to give more storage space when camping.

If you want any more pictures please say what and I will get them for you.

Please CALL ME on 07921 563655 if you are genuinely interested, its impossible to get an idea of how much work has gone into this bus just from a few pictures.

Obviously bus is tax exempt, but I will stick a fresh ticket on it for the new owner too.

For anyone not familiar with Ollie or his bus, what you need to bear in mind is that Ollie is as straight and honest as one could wish for, his bus is of the same vein.
Had I the 3k handy, would have bought the engine without any doubt.

Porsche Fuches now for sale too, 2x4.5 & 2x5.5 with good tyres, chrome nuts, Porsche locking nuts, centre caps and wide 5 adaptors £500.

Pics available etc...

896 views and only one phone call...

Sod you all then, I'm keeping it. :D

Right. Still for sale. £8,000 minus engine and gearbox.

This REALLY has to go, so, £10,000 with the engine and wheels. No offers.

Ok guys I'm confused, 1,700 views and 1 phone call... Is this bus priced too expensively? :?:

Dude,

Its cheap at that price, no way you could build one for that price, but as with anything the right person needs to come along, its a top bus and will sell, but don't give it away

Pete

To be honest mate (and I know this isn't much help  ) the price seems good and really don't know why it isn't selling.

As someone who only bought a bus recently, would have been on the blower to see this if it had been available at the time. Not sure where else you've got it advertised by pistonheads may be worth a try if you haven't put it there yet as I know a couple of friends had surprising success there. Only other advice might be spend time taking some pics of how solid it is (cab floors, sills, cargo deck, all the usual!) and link to an album.
