Keep your nerve, I have just bought a '69 uk rhd Devon it's still not on the road(almost) and the engine has more end float than a cross channel ferry, and it still owes me at least what your asking, this is a great motor and I would have snapped it up when looking, how about the dreaded eBay? Has the price of the motor reduced also if sold separately?

I'd never sell a car on Ebay, not worth the hassle. I buy bike bits on there and thats it. I don't sell anything on there anymore as everyone wants something for nothing!

As for the motor, the price is still the same as its a major pain for me to take it out and find/fit another. Sorry.

10K seems too high for what your offering. You have had 1 phone call because it's a lot of cash to part with for whats on offer. I hope this does not sound too pesemistic, but you have to be realistic in a market where you can buy a solid bus from California and import it yourself for under £4K (after having paid all transport costs and taxes). This is what I did. I could easily sell it for 8K, no problem.

It seems people are becoming savy about what these buses are actually bought for and the mark up. Hey, but you never know, there might be a buyer who'd paid 10K no problem.

There's no mark up, it's for sale for less than what its cost me to build.

I'm sorry!? 10k for this bus is quite high? This is a high spec bus that is hard as nails and built with quality parts! Its a bargain price for the bus that it actually is pal! Couldn't not get involved with hidious comments like that flying about!

I just typed out a long list of reasons why this bus is cheap at this price, but then I deleted it because the fact is, it is cheaper, more solid, more comfortable, faster and more reliable than many similar, more rotten buses, out there, and you could not build a similar specced bus for this money.

And LV, apologies if it sounded like I was having a go earlier - I wasn't - just merely defending myself. I am having a shit time at the moment and am selling this bus through necessity, not choice. If you knew me then you might understand. I am not flipping it as you seem to be implying, I have owned and grafted on this bus for nearly four years to make it what it it is, and seeing it go will break my heart. But needs must.
