Hi All,
I'd like to fit two 3-point seat belts to a 3/4 rock n roll bed. Obviously one fits in the original fittings but I can't see how to fit another one as the middle seat belt is designed to be a lap belt. Does anyone know if anyone manufactures a fitting kit for this or should I fit a seat belt mount just above the fuel tank on the boot floor?
Thoughts/opinions gratefully received.
Cheers,
Neil

As with a lot of things on these busses , the solutions are a little ad hock. The search on here will bring up three or four different versions mostly to include an iron bracket hidden inside the wardrobe. I wouldn't want to vouch for any of these, but if push came to shove I'd be more glad I had them than not if you know what I mean.

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,, and summer disappears tonight ,,, oh no !! :mrgreen:

This may be of help to you, I am about to purchase one of these for our lad who is 5.

Found it for less here http://www.paddockspares.com/sec700black-securon-700-3-point-harness-with-retractor-black.html?gclid=CKTJnfeqhdACFSIG0wodMtoCVQ" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I don`t want to burst any bubbles here but that is a 3 point harness, I don`t think you`ll be able to effectively mount that at the rear where the retractor has to go. I hope I`m wrong and you can indeed fit that to one side and not centrally. On a stock bus it`d be quite low too.

Ozziedog,,,,,,,,,,, fingers crossed

I'm going to use a bar bolted between each seatbelt mount to then mount the reel in the centre of the seat.
