No 11

Think youll see that the people who were on the original site all joined on the same day when they got a mail saying it had all changed with the new lay out (remember that) I think i was on pretty quick first time round but it dosent really bother me...............were here and thats what counts.
Keep up the good work.

I wonder if there is any way to get more people posting? Other forums I have been involved in always seem to have a lot of innactive members, maybe a group email to remind everyone we are still here?
Or is that a bit OTT?

yes - youre right - we had the old format forum for a week or so before moving over to this one - I think there was some shuffling in the membership numbers then - I should raffle-off the 'unused' early ones !!

Make it so number one! one step closer to the top 5 position :D

I'd say a bit OTT - they usually have good reason for not posting (dead,
dying or moved over to the dark side - Splitty, late bay etc  ).

Perhaps if someone who hasn't used it for 12 months, either give them
a reminder or remove them....

i agree 12 months without posts and remove? 8)

dont want to remove anyone as if you look at your own profile now there are fields for van details (these werent there originally so not everyone has filled them in) - this is forming the basis of the EarlyBay Register ...

199, quite a poor performance by me there, first place to go for early knowledge tho and great inspiration

Mucho respect No 1

I'm not a big fan of bumping people for lack of posting. Who is to know if they are regular viewers but not posting? Nothing wrong there in my book. I was thinking of people who sign up then get busy doing other things. Maybe to drop them a line with a bit of an update on how many members now, new sections or simply along the lines of "remember us". Nothing along the lines of threatened banishment or nastiness for their lack of posting. There is plenty of that elsewhere on the web isn't there?

yep thats a good Lobus - I might put together a 'gentle' email to send round to 'zero posters' - sometimes people just need a little encouragement ...

A month later and it`s bloody 601  8) welcome one and all . Quality site . . . . love it !
