68 Front Beam complete Drum to Drum for parts

As title. Totally original, not lowered.
Needs plates welded behind shock towers but other than that it is very solid, no other rust/rot.
Beam is free parts from it for sale
£10 each bit

It is currently stripped down to the beam with trailing arms still in, essentially spindles off.
With rollbar and good clamps etc

With the greatest respect , it doesnt matter if its rhd or lhd on a 68 they fit both . Also if it wants plates on the inner faces mate ..... Its SCRAP.....

2nd hand beams are cheap and plentlyful , the best option is to sell it if some one cares to use the tubes for a homemade narrow conversion ( An awful lot of work ) or b use it as a door stop as thats all its fit for

Its the biggest supporting part of the front suspension essentially you could be selling someone a death trap if it completly fails ..........

Not sure it's dangerous if checked properly, perhaps a tad extreme but take your point. if there is an abundance opf cheap US beams around then totally get it.
When I was sourcing a 68 beam for a split years ago they were V expensive.

Anyone want a free door stop? Any parts from it?
Trailing arms look good and drums and brakes etc.
It'll go in the scrap in 2 weeks time if not

What condition is the lower nearside trailing arm? Any play in the ball joint?

Difficult to tell now as it's off the van.
Personally i would replace all of them as it's been sat for c.25years.
