Is there such thing as and a way of rebuilding the louvre windows, as mine are very loose and rattle a lot, if so who does the rebuild kits, please?
would also like to give them a damn good clean and polish while I am there..

It's a pain in the ass to do, and a high percentage you'll break a piece of glass. Your fingers will ache for days after.
And the screws are two different lengths, don't mix them up....
If the louvres are loose and won't shut tightly, there's a chance the gearbox is worn.

Jeffrey at Bus-ok.de does replacement parts.

Thanks mate…now I am scared!😂

I have been saving up to buy new, repro ones. There are two suppliers over here (USA) that sell different versions, but they’re very pricey. I’d probably have to sell my ‘71 just to afford them.

Rebuilding and selling rebuilt Jalousie windows would be an ideal pastime for one of the old codgers that inhabit this group.
