69 microbus

Hello from the bottom of the world but not as far as the members named lowlight and lobus....they are waydown.
I have a 69 microbus which I bought for a whole 700 bucks with 6 months rego.
It's all there but had to do some welding behind the bumper and other bits of minor nastiness.
Original paint white dash bays are the best, I love em, they even smell good inside.
Time and money will finish her one day to superseed our 76 micro.
Also have a low 68 micro I'll do some pics soon.[/img

I agree about early white bays .. my 69 was originally all Lotus white with the red interior ...

I only know of 2 others in my area in good nick too and much the same condition.
I was flicking through an old volksworld mag today and saw a pic of a 68 brochure and it had white air armrests......that would be rare, I'm going to bed it's after midnight, seeya.
