I have some domed caps but there not chrome would be nice to see what they look like though with chromed domed ones.
Thanks for the nice comment Brett because i was not to sure about putting them on and now i have i am pleased with the result the problem now is the beauty rings will have to stay on because they have wrecked my paint on the wheels
are you going to camperjam because i thought you sold your tkts

cheers shaun

No Mate sold them, it wouldn't of been fair on the Mrs as she would of been looking after the Dog's while I'll be out dancin & socialising  I also got cold feet with this weather it's the same as 2007 when we had all the floods
To be honest I'm more into the Buses than the scene. :?
Yeah those beauty rings will mess your wheel paint but my Bus came with them on & I rather like the American look.
Hope to meet up with you & the fella's at sometime this year. :)
Have a good next weekend Buddy & lets hope it shines. :)

Had this made for me for the festivals safes me putting up an awning

Found that a piston on each caliper was solid and not moving, the seals were rotten and the bleed nipples on one caliper were crushed
Oh and the hole the retaining bolt goes through is partially missing

I am surprised i ever stopped

This is what i have now :D
its a conversion kit from jk so that i have early discs but the calipers are late, i found to buy the early calipers were ridiculous money
if any ones interested my old ones could be up for sale in the for sale thread but obviously need rebuilding

took out the carpet and chucked and underneath is a black and white checked vinyl that i knew about, the wood under the flooring was screwed to the cargo floor  so to get to the screws i had to scrape up the vinyl which i am not to bothered about.
It took me longer to get the floor up than to get all the furniture out
The floor is not to bad pretty much what i expected.
Had to pack up as i ran out of daylight
so went to reverse the bus back in the garage and realised it would not fit because of the weight i have taken out  , so 2 concrete blocks and 2 patio slabs later oh and a little air out the tyres  and it fits
so sunday hopefully give it a wire brush a clean, some kurust and a little paint .
then what to do with the floor :?:

Right back to my post its been a while (photobucket has not been working since they changed it  )
this is after cleaning then some kurust and then painting with hammerite 2 coats

Next to put it all back together with a new piece of vinyl thanks to Justin(creationblue) he new i was after something for my floor and said he had this lying around.
Thinking about getting some matting from madmatz to go on top when funds permit

not rigged to work yet that will take another year and a half
any one got ideas of how to get a wire down into the engine section thought about going down through the spare wheel well theres a hole there i think

cheers shaun

Nice addition dude, I guess you will have to take a wire behind the hatch cover then feed it to the top of the near side and thru the conduit with the rear heater wire then somehow to either the rear lights or the brake switch..... Or just leave it for show

Some local council recycle places are now selling some of the usable items
found this there for £8 not as cool as a chopper but still brings back some memories :)
think i read somewhere a commando was a poor mans chopper
