I thought it would probably be an E.B'er ,did stand out among the many late ones as you say  luckily we'd left the beach before the heavens opened, just sheltered in shops like all the rest and bought some tat and pasties  (probably the best pasty ive had from that shop up the top of the hill on the bend mmm)
my first time in Bude and I liked it. Love Devon & Cornwall though.

I normally go farther down cornwall St Ives and that area but seems to be getting a longer drive every year so thought we would try Bude and was about 3 hours for us which was a nice change from the 6 we would normally do.
We have missed that part of cornwall this year though and the wife keeps telling me that the beachs were not the same either

yea I know, we've done St Ives area for 4 years running,we love that area but seen it all for now. so did south Devon last year and north this year (much better beaches up north) and as you say a quicker drive home. .St ives is a bastard drive home on a saturday. Took me 12 hours 2 years ago on my birthday which kinda killed it for me ! We'll be back to north Devon and Cornwall next year though 8)

Time to update the suspension fed up with the wife moaning when we go away  and to be honest it was pretty rough!! it was already lowered when I bought it and as far as I can tell its cut and turned beam.
Went for the Red9 ez rider kit, I liked the fact it was adjustable and I could fit it myself :D
Once I got the calipers , anti roll bar and tie rods off , normally you would only remove one side but because I am fitting new rubbers on all 4 ball joints i removed both sides it was time to start on the torsion arms what a bastard they were to get out the beam they took a lot of persuading

The Bars that fit in the beam to replace the torsion leaves go in no problem

Torsion arms back in with new rubbers on the balljoints :D but the holes on the torsion arms where the grub screws go into did not perfectly line up with the v of the bar that replaces the leaves so as I have read on other guys posts and it says on the instructions that there might be pieces of weld at the end of the torsion arm!! so knocked the caps off the ends and no weld nothing!!!
so it seems the bars are slighty longer that perhaps they should be, tried to put the caps back on thinking it might have been me just worryin to much but the caps are no where near fitting because of the bars are a 2mm longer.
Shocks on wound them down to the full 4"

Wheels are back on and have took it for a quick test drive as I finished it late last night so no pics yet of the finished result but Big improvement!!! looks about the same height as before thankfully because I did not want to start messing about with the height at the back of the bus thats for next year  and he goes back into the garage lovely :D

Nice work. Just make sure the grub screws are sat in the V properly or else you will loose a trailing arm :msn4: , if so then just mastic the caps on, they are now just needed to keep the crap out.

Not had a chance till today to go back out on the bus due to rain and other commitments
when I took if for the first drive noticed a lot of sqeaking and creaking so took the shocks off and sprayed the bushes with copper grease and also adjusted the dampners as soft as they will go which is anti clockwise as far as the dial can turn then took it for another drive and all silent now on the shock front and an even better improvement again on the ride.
This is the end result on the stance pretty much as it was before :D

Can't believe I've never seen this bus, absolute stunner.
Completely love your wheels so I think I may have to copy that idea.

Thanks for the nice comments ;)
also thanks for the info and help with the grub screw I f**ked up Justin (Creationblue)
