all the doors are now off ,they were the last nuts and bolts left on, the front doors will need to be refitted as i have had to skim around the welds to the upper repair on the front panel.

thought the front was pretty good apart from the repair i had to do around the lower screen
,how wrong i was when i took the sander to it ,





i did mention to the wife about buying another front clip and starting again but buy the look on her face i said best i break out the filler then

I felt a bit like that before my recent week in Rhodes, but wow was it worth it!!

I hope the weather stays nice for you! We went to Cornwall for a week a couple of September's ago, and it was 50+ mph winds on the moor, even broke a tent pole :shock: real nice down there though.

I recommend the Minack Theatre if you're passing!

Thought I had got all the glue off but no, who ever refitted the interior in the states liked a goo layer

Got the headliner out ,I tried to get it out to sell on but to much glue shame as it was pretty goo nick, took me two days to clean the roof.

Booked a fortnight of work ,first week in Cornwall, weather was good but really missed not haveing the bus .

Well it's been along time since I painted a car and a bus is not a small ,job I have to say I feel I may have bitten of more than I can chew , the job is no longer enjoyable ,it's my fault as money is tight and I under estimated the cost of a nut and bolt resto ,and that's me doing all the work ,

At first view it looked ok but then I found this up the front ,not sure if it will show but there's some runs there ,and the paint hasn't gin on the back lip of the gutter very well

I ordered 2.5ltrs of paint for roof and interior but its goner know where, ime not sure on cloud white either :roll: now it's on .i think I will have to order more paint and shoot again

Managed to get the interior painted but not happy with this either as there is not alot of paint in places ,I wanted to paint the floor and inner panels all the same as it looks neater but didn't have enough paint, I have had to keep some back for inside doors.

Flatted the roof as I wasn't happy with it ,only place I went through was removing some runs also I felt there wasn't enough paint on the back lip of the gutter, it's a rite pig of a place to paint.

Wasn't happy with the finish so roof and interior have been shot again ,much better finish ,starting to get the hang of the gun now

Cheers chaps, been sorting the doors ect today as the weather has been a bit dodgy, hopefully will have the body fully painted by the end of this coming week .i am tempted to do it tomorrow but don't want to risk masking on paint I shot today.

Shot the body last night, didn't come out as I was hopping ,the paint went on ok but the amount of imperfections was scary ,I've spent three weeks prepping but the funny thing was I thought the front clip was going to be the let down but it looks the best panel
