Wasn't happy with the long panels and found loads of little imperfections that were buggin me so sanded the panels back ,reprimed and blocked them, went over the whole body after wet sanding it then spent ages with some putty filling all the bits I missed  ,I love the colour now now but it shows every little mark

I was really happy with it, the panels were alot straighter and its the best finish I have ever got with celly from a gun. Sadly I've gone out today to do a bit of prep on putting bits back on and noticed the two long panels have gone patchy again :( ,if you look at some previous pics when I was prepping there is some filler exposed from previous respiratory in the past ,it seems this is what's causing the problem, it may polish up but don't know what else to try as I reprimed the panels what I do know is if I attack it again I may have a divorce on my hands and I think the weather is going turn soon.

the only trouble with celly is it will sink into any old repair what it does is reacts with the old repairs ind livens them up the only way to stop is to barcaot the underlying paint you can flat and polish it and it will go but a week or 2 later its back two pack primer and paint has almost stopped this problem still happens some times

Thanks for reply, I've had a few peeps look now and have said pretty much the same, I looked into bar coat but was told it must not get wet ,as I am working outside it was a no go, the shelter isn't waterproof, really thought about two pack but just can't risk it as I am painting outside the house, I've just got the doors to shoot now ,once it's done ime going to put back together then probably sell it, it's not going to turn out like I wanted it to so will never be happy with it, should have gone with the rat look

Looking good..!! :D

I've still not got a bigger compressor to really try out my blasting cabinet yet but this winter it'll be working..!? :D

Your pictures by the way are lost on the thread cos you are copying the Http code and you should copy the IMG to get them to show up on your thread. Just thought i'd let you know. :)

I've painted this door three times now still not happy but hay, it's the paint finish that's killing my mojo ,o to have some ££ in the bank, I sold my roll over jigg and engine stand so will get the wiring loom ordered soon ,the guy who bought it does Restos for a living ,after a chat he did say might be worth just saving up and get it painted again ???? ,kind of goes against what I wanted to really but if it looks **** then this might be the best thing to do.ive put so much time into prepping all the parts ,as you can see fron the pics ,would be a shame for the paint to knock it.

Get it done man!!!
You'll be a lot happier about the whole van when it's shiney!!!!!!
90% of celly jobs look like that out the gun! even polishing it up with out flatting it will make an improvement!?!!?!

Spent a few evenings working on this door ,after two attempts I pretty much bare metalled this doo, etch primed it, then three coats of primer, flatted it off, I shot the colour this morning and it looked pretty good ,been out the front working on bus and just come down the workshop for a brew and found this

Not sure if you can see what I can but its **** ,it's almost like a reaction but I tacked it and panel wiped it twice ,the panel was nice and warm ????

Gutted all that hard work and the paint reacted :( any ideas yet, on what caused the reaction?

You haven't been using silicon sprays, or polishes lately have you? They have a habit of causing a reaction, even keeping them near where your working is enough to bugger the paint :(
