What is the cost of shipping these days?

ive emailed my shipper for a price

last bus i imported was £1300, plus taxes @15%VAT on shipping and bus purchase price, plus £50 fixed duty

will have a definate price once my shipper emails me back, Mario will deliver to the dock free of charge

So.....

$9800 = £6431
Shipping = £1300 approx
Total = £7731

Tax@15% = £1159.65
Fixed duty = £50

GRAND TOTAL £8940.65

Considering your going to give 4 grand plus for an imported project which will probably be incomplete this is not a bad price for such a nice tin top.

And its a 71 which has all the good bits underneath ;)

From personal experience recently shipping is more like £1600 - £1650 on a single bus, also how is it getting to port?, transport companies seem to have put a price hike on recently, I've just had a quote of $250 to collect a bus in LA and deliver it to the docks in LA so you need to factor something in for that as well so you are looking at well over £9K landed in this country

will be delivered to the port FOC by Mario, can give you his number if another contacts helpful for ya

*slight hijack*

Wierd seeing now that once youve factored in the costs, and add on a bit for UK registration, collecting this side etc etc its close to a $1 - £1 price match! :shock: The economy has really changed things, huh?

Anyway, back to the advert ..... :D
