Hi guys,
Anyone know where I can pick up a NEW wiper motor for a rhd 71? Or has anyone tried a different motor with any success?
My wipers are movin like that YouTube clip of the chubby sunburnt kid sliding down that metal slide!!!

Unusual for these to fail. Have you tested the motor to make sure it's not a power supply or lubrication fault? Might also be dirty commutator or worn brushes.

I think one of the most common causes of failure is seizure of the wiper spindles. Might be worth checking they turn freely before spending on a replacement motor :)

Hi I own a 72 crossover, which I sold and then a few years ago bought back. In the 18 months the other chap had it he replaced the wiper motor, it does not now self park. I have tried in different forums to resolve this but so far have been unsuccessful. The point I am trying to make is if you go for a different motor be quite careful in the one you get.

If you read the heading on Butty's site you'd see that this is for Split buses up to the '65 model year. No way would it be suitable for a Bay bus.
