I happen to have a 75 amp alternator and am thinking of using this on my van but, the question is, will the standard wiring loom on an early bay 71 be ok with it or will I need to upgrade the wiring in any way?

I don't expect to use anything more than standard as far as electric is concerned, except maybe a newer cd player and possibly an aux socket to run a dvd player.

Any advice will be much appreciated.

I got one on my 1600 engine which was in my 72 bay for a year and is now in my 72 bug. No issues with it or the wiring.
