is any one runing porsh 8j rims on the rear of a wide5 set up or know if they will fit cheers ric.

do a search for axlfoley and Nelly, both of these have large porshce rims fitted, not sure what size though, 8j sounds seriously wide, coinsidering you may need an adaptor as well? where in lancs are you?

im in the dribble valley Clitheroe will pm you about your heater later

It's all a question of offset,

and also of adapters etc, the bus below has re drilled rear hubs to take Porsche pattern rims and the hub nut was heavily machined so when running the street set the centre cap would fit!

here are some pics of a 7j Porsche compomotive split rim on the back of an early bay.

TBH its all down to the offset, I have a set of 7" teledials on the back, thats a combination of Late rear hubs, but with a mercedies disk over the top, this probably increases the track by about 10mm each side, on top of ths I have a 10mm adaptor, the teledials I have have an offset of 52.3 so they tuck in nicely.

you could possibly get away with an 8" wide wheel as long as the offset is high and you have redrilled hubs.
