accelator cable too short

just fitting a new cable to my pick-up and seems like it's too short
the engine is fitted with the empi kit 40 mm :wink:
anyone any idea how to fix this :?
the cable is the longest i could get

I had a similar problem, the longest cable I could find was a type 25 one, JK have the individual sizes in their catalogue, give them a try. Think it was a 2.1 RHD one

I had the same problem when i got mine from GFS. My bus is a LHD and it turns out the ones for a right hand drive are shorter. Is yous a lefty??

being from belguim its what we're used too :wink:
i bought it from serial kombi in france so it should be the correct one for my ride
but not with these carbs

I once got a cable made up by a local motorcycle spares shop - might be worth a go...

I got the correct one for my '68 and found it to be too short, I put it done to the fact that a '68 should be a single port and my engine is a twin port.
