Hello there,

I have a nice 68'Westy, but the rear bumper is quite twisted because it has been repaired after a crash.
I am therefore planning to buy a fiberglass repro from nomorerustybits ( http://www.nomorerustybits.com/index_files/Page565.htm ) because straight original ones are getting hard to find. Has anyone tried one of those ? Is it hard to tell the difference with an original one ?

And what about the Brazilian metal repro from JK ? Is it decent quality ?

Thanks for your advice to come,

Hello mate, I have fibreglass bumpers on mine, they are not nomorerustybits ones, but are very similar. I love em, never rust and add a few extra mph to the van cos they are so light!

The ones i saw at Vanfest last year were spot on. 8)

just fitted a repro one. they are splitty shaped at the ends and do not fit early bays very well. Took a bit of persuading to level out.

do you mean the side steps? if so yea they do all the bits and do smoothies aswell, got the brackets to fit underneath aswell :D

no they dont do em, you have to use your orig ones and drill the holes....................carefully!
