I have an original aerial but have no lead from it to the radio - does anyone know the name of the connector I need so I can look for one on the Internet?

Thanks!

Google "female uhf connector" you may need to find the appropriate nut as you don't seem to have one of those, and just wire it to a standard coax aerial lead :)

Agreed. Looks similar to the UHF connectors used on satellite dishes or CB radios. The centre pin looks corroded by the way.

guess you may have already found these but second option if the corrosion proves to be an issue - I fitted one of these and works great.
