Air box drain pipe

Before I start welding up the front valance etc.
Does the drain pipe on the air box get piped out of the van :?:

should be a hole directly below it, drain pipe should run down, thru and out towards the ground

should be a black concertina style pipe, like on a hoover but smaller

Is there then a metal tube welded out of the valance to
connect the concertina pipe to :?:

think its just a hole it pokes thru
