Its that time again.................did consider France this year but Cornwall got the thumbs up with the family..........

Thought I'd link the campsites for future reference so others can see reviews and get some ideas ect.

So far Im at Valley Caravan Park Polzeath http://www.valleycaravanpark.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; on the 3rd Aug till the 6th.

Then down to Churchtown Farm Gwithian till the 12th http://www.churchtownfarm.org.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (might be a good idea not to admit being their last year in an old camper van :oops: ) :lol:

Next Trevedra till 14th http://www.cornwall-online.co.uk/trevedra/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

After this we are gonna wing it, Sarah want to get to Henry's, http://www.henryscampsite.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; as we have failed to get a pitch here without prior booking the last two years, but im thinking I want to start to make my way north........

Feel free to add comments about any of the above and any recommendations :D And if anyone wants to tag along then feel free, we had a fantastic time last year meeting new friends 8)

We are going back to Rhodes again in May for a bit of sun. Then if the rest of the summer is a wash out at least I will have had a bit of sun :)

The whole beauty of living in the UK for me is being able to piss off to Europe in the summer.

After last years 321 days of rain I'm definitely out of here too.

Have you not all heard that its going to be a scorcher in the UK in the summer of 2013!? :msn4: :lol:

Any more sites around Polzeath/Padstow in walking distance from the beach?

Gaz is Dennis Cove near a beach? I see it says estuary...........

Dennis Cove is a great little campsite and as Gaz says a 10 min walk to Padstow. The other side of Padstow is a beach about 20 min walk from the campsite or you can get the foot ferry from Padstow across to Rock to the beach and dunes there.
Dennis Cove is just off the Camel Trail Cycle Path between Padstow to Wadebridge and then on to Bodmin.
A short drive to the west is Harlyn Bay which is sheltered and a bit further along is Constantine Bay for some surf.

enjoy you trip.
Cheers,
Rob.
