Another ply roof question

I have a sunroof which iam putting a ply roof in I have put cab in now looking above sliding door and opposite I have this light with pushes the wood down I could cut around but it would Have to be a big cut as the frame is the issue not the light itself not sure it's been covered but reading recent posts I can't see.

I'd remove the light bracket, then cut a hole in the ply just for the light.

Thanks Dave not sure if there is any other way to do it ,thought I may have the trim too high if it is its stopping in place one of the most annoying jobs I've done on the bus trying to get the ply to fit but front is done so I know what to expect for the cargo area.

I did mine like this 'cos I covered the ply, though if you are just going to leave it au-naturel you could cut a piece of thick ply and shape/router it and glue/screw to the ply for a light - if that makes sense

Thanks I am going to have a think,may go down the route of frame out as this will give me more options.
