Hi,

For the umpteenth time I'm - again - considering taking my bike license. Probably something to do with seeing (and hearing/smelling - they're two stroke motors) a cracking Kawasaki AR125 blast by me the other day :D

The missus thinks I'm nuts - and the parents think I need sectioning! :(

Anybody else here thinking of doing the same / or recently done it?

Cheers,

Mike

My next thing to do I think.

My brother races bikes and is moveinbg from moto x to do the Yahama R6 cup next year.

Always had a thing for my bikes but her indoors is not so keen.

But, there only as safe as you make them and you only live once.

Your brother sounds cool 8)
Love MotoX - such a good laugh, but murders your forearms I found, plus the
seats on the bikes are sooo high

I'm lucky in that my missus likes bikes and she didn't want me to get rid of mine :(

I think anyone who has left the first flushes of youth behind, should give it a go, but
don't go straight for a big bike as you will definately kill yourself (mine was dyno'd as having 115BHP at the back wheel and this from 600cc!!!).

Not sure what the rules are nowadays after passing the test, but when I did mine, as soon as you passed, you get on anything you wanted

He's just naturally gifted when it comes to driving and riding.

When he was 8 he started racing karts with Lewis Hamilton and Anthony Davidson.

Lot of the guys who he used to race with just turned there backs on it due to the finance issue.

So my brother started the mx with it being one of the cheapest forms of motorsport.

Saved some pennies, got some sponsors and just seeing how he gets on really!

Should be some good weekends had next year

do it Buddy!!!!!!!

you'll never look back, well unless you over take or pull out. bit of a silly saying really lol

I've got two Yam's and a scooter something for every season

plus you can stay warm in the bus with all your bike gear on

have you booked up your test or an instructor to guide you through?

good luck
