I really feel for those that are getting flooded, what seems like every year.how could anyone deny that weather patterns are changing.I don't remember these big floods every year, say 15 -20 years ago :???:

Doesn't help that the greedy gits keep building on flood plains, there's several estates round here that flood every now and then, you speak to any 'old boy' and he'll tell you "that used to be a duck pond, or that always used to flood when it rained" all that water's got to go somewhere.

Dry at the min in Watford but blowing a gale!!!

I had a gazebo bolted down on drive all year but the winds taken it down, all bent up and twisted, had to cut it up with a grinder :(

So wish I had a garage

I've been out on my road bike this morning and was axle-deep a couple of times :D

And not forgetting those councils that allowed the greedy developers to build on the flood planes or re route rivers and cause the flooding in places where it never used to happen. makes you wonder if someone lined their pockets allowing such plans through.. Shame on our public servants...
