Anybody got any tasty photos of dusty buses they dragged out? Chuck em up on this thread! Here are a couple from one of my current stashes, lots of work but so far most of the early bays are being saved from this lot. THere was even a 1960 Karmann GHia I accidentally ran into with my Range Rover as I couldn't see it! Here's a quiz, who knows what year the red bay is in the first photo?

Thats an impressive stash 8)
I would say the red one is a very early (71) crossover deluxe judging by the engine lid which they only made for a short while.

Agreed - assuming by 71 you mean date of manufacture (August 1971->) as its a 72 model year ;)

Spot on - my van was made in Nov '71 and has this engine cover!

Yeah Loxy, those lids were on the first of the 72s made in 71 if that make sense :?

Forgot to ask, what color trim panel do you need?

Mine should be like this one, being a 72 deluxe it has two chrome strips running through it but anything close will do ;)
