Anyone got any templates for notched springplates?

And, how much do people take out, from the edge?
I was thinking about half an inch, in a stright line to a nice curve out.

Anyone got any advice for me?

Will I need special cutting discs for the grinder as it's sprung steel?

depends on how far your going down "up with the plate".put some goggles on when your cutting ,I had one shatter when I did mine"normal cutting blades" :shock: and grind the edges smooth like the rest of the spring plate.Ive gone adout 1/2" with 2 spline but my van isn't on the road yet and I may have to chop a bit more out :wink:
