Anyone running 40 idf's on a 1600

Have a pair of 40idf's sitting around and was wondering if it would be overkill :shock: fitting them on my 1600TP engine, or would it be a good upgrade? comments would be appreciated.. Can't afford a bigger engine at present. anyone running similar? whats the fuel consuption like? more grunt?

I'm running dual Dellorto 40's on my 1600dp and they work great. I'm presently using:

28mm venturies
.55 idles (could go down to .52's)
1.20 main gas (also could go down next size)
180 air corrections

I'm using IDF's with pretty much the same spec as above on my 1600 and I recon their great!
