I had the pleasure of seeing this bus in July this year part way through the resto and I have to say what a sweet bus with lots of little tweeks 8) .
Nice to see it on the road

door panels are just built outwards to take the speakers kinda like a mini door build, speakers are a pair of 3 ways, two subs n tweeters on a crossover, rear end has a 300w amp and 6x9s. all powered by a sony headunit, sounds nice, clear n loud
no mention of the door pulls?? they are early bug style handles, lots of work :lol:


Haveacamper, yes that a volkswagen script on the dash, i built that dash over 16years ago and have always used it in my bus...next time someone tells you they did it first you can set them right
im back with the bus tomorrow so ill take some better pics of the cab. ill just say chrome chrome chrome!

hurrah rancid is home!
finally brought the beastie home from my workshop, its only 20 miles but its from north london to kent :shock: with no numberplates :shock: :shock:
drove fine, couple of tweeks needed but not bad for a fresh build

gninnam its VW aprikot, a polo colour! just got to get the beast registed now, build the cooker n storage units then polish polish polish!
im not gonna drive it, just go down to the garage n sit in it (and polish it a bit more!) :lol:
