Anyone got any good idea's where is the best place to put a second modern stereo and speakers in a micro bus?

I dont want to replace my original stereo so i need some where out of the way to put it? I've considered inder the bench seat as long as it dont get in the way of the z hinges which it shouldn't.

Also thinking of a leisure battery to power it.

Anyone got any good set ups in their bus? Know where i can go to get a leisure battery fitted and audio gear n i'm based in notts?

Dave

Try Johnsons if you dont want to do it yourself though he gets booked up, saying that the leisure battery wont take him too long to fit for you...

you can buy them any motor factors or Halfrauds, just make sure its a 'deep cycle' battery which allows 'full' discharge/recharge

Got van booked in at Johnson's Auto's seem like a decent bloke so got him to do a service whilst its in.

yer but apparently he's only moved down the road

seems nice enough going to have a look at my suspension to i'm thinking of fitting gas shocks

You wouldnt want todrive a lowered bus down his old track

yeah he is a nice fella, and has a good rep, always busy....

yer booked n for 2 weeks from now first day he had available.

anyone got gas shocks on their bus? I'll buy some if they make a difference but if its not much of an improvemnet i'll have to weigh it up against the cost.

placement of the second stereo is easier, i dont think there are stereo gloveboxes for bays yet :( , Ill be the first to buy one. But you can buy the standard stereo housings from halfrauds again, and fit it under the dash with the fixings out of sight.
