Awning waterproofing

Hi Guys

I was just wondering if anyone has used a cheaper alternative to FABSIL to waterproof
their awning? I have heard that Thompsons water seal can be used which about half
the price of fabsil. Local builders merchants do their own versions which are probably
cheaper still. Has anyone used this? or can anyone recomend a cheaper alternative?

dont use the enviromently friendly stuff it doesnt work, i used fabsil after its dear but it worked
