Managed to bag a set of Dellorto 34 FRD carbs (Dells equivilant of weber ICT's) but really struggling to get hold of some manifolds.
Does anyone know where i can get some from? I have tried thesamba.com, ebay.com, VZi etc etc but no luck so far.
I have contacted eurocarb but they said that they are no longer made but didn't have any suggestions either.
I have read that its possible to mod a set of ICT manifolds to fit (although also read that you need to mod the carb base plate and not the manifold) Anyone running FRD's and what manifolds have you got?
Anyone shed any light on the manifold situation OR any ideas?

Have you got the linkage ? If not and it cannot be bought, I might be inclined to sell them on.
You might find it easier and ultimately less costly to get a complete kit of twin carbs.

just keep your eyes peeled it may take time but a nice pair of baby dells are probably worth the wait....

Eurocarb have told me what linkages they recommend and have them in stock, also they stock the cone air filters its just the manifolds i need.
If i can get hold of a cheap pair of ICT manifolds then i may be tempted to butcher them to try and get the dells to fit.

This is also my thinking, got the dells (already jetted for a Bay) for a good price and planning an engine build around a twin port but as i have an OG solex 34 pict 3 that i can use then i am in no rush

Are these what your after over on vzi

I take it back.

Assuming the carbs are good and the linkage is available - then these manifolds are a snip I reckon..

The carbs all look good and where jetted / removed from a 1600 bay so hopefully its all looking good fo rthe future engine build. 8)

Possibly found some OG dellorto manifolds on the samba, although they are from a type 3 which i have been told means they are smaller in height but should be ok as long as i can get a spacer for between the carb and the manifold (The wife's cousin owns a small engineering company and the brother in law works for McLaren so ;) ;) )
