bamboo parcel shelf

ok - I've just bought a parcel shelf for my 68 bay window - however finding it difficult to find how to fit it! ive even found it difficult to find a picture of one fitted. please help.

...if you have a 71/72 you will have to move the fuse box up out of the way....

...if you have vents that go throught to the rear i dont think it will fit.....

I have a '71 and my fusebox is higher up under the dash.
Don't you hit the shelf with your knees? I like those bamboo parcel shelfs but being a tall/big boy i think i 'll hit it all the time...

mine has the later larger fuse box and it is, or rather was, right where the shelf goes.....not noticed me hitting my legs on it....but I am only 180cm

just installed one in my 1971 dlx with heater "ducts" or "things" on the door. i managed to install it on top of that heater duct ... will post pic later on ... does not interfere with fusebox ... fusebox is way higher !

IMHO just about the best looking shelf you can buy.

I had one in my bug and will be getting one for the bus eventually, lovely piece of kit!

Look forward to seeing fastfreds pictures, really want a parcel shelf but didn't think it was possible with the deluxe air ducting.

everyone knowing me, knows i am not the mechanical wizz ... with some persuasion, some thinking, some cursing, fitting and refitting, i managed to get them in ...
