Hi all.

Last update was that he was going away to get prices and availability of parts for the numbers we need. I'm hoping the numbers will get the price down enough.

He builds rev counters from scratch for racing and some individual one off's, like mine. Some specialist parts such as stepper motors are bought in from specialist manufacturers and local specialists build items such as populated printed circuit boards to his own design. One off instruments and repairs and restorations are completed on an individual basis using original spares if they are available and hand making them if they are not and it is
practicable. Only occasionally does he reject a repair on technical grounds.

I hope that answers the question. My rev counter has not been connected due to auto electrician I know wanting a vehicle lift to put the wiring in under the van. May just do it myself when I get a chance!

Will keep you updated as I hear but it is likely to be mid-late next week I would say.

Hi yeh another interest here on the counter but like previously asked does the rev counter need to be so high ie 8000 rpm

Agree about the 8,000 rpm - would much prefer a much lower limit so can read it quicker as well.

The rev counter can be re done to 6000 revs. However, this may increase the cost a bit as the graphics for the dial will have to be redone. Not sure how big a job this is but will be asking him for 6000 rpm rev counters.
