Ive got a lowered beam that i got from cool air a few years ago to fit my 1976 panelvan .I have now sold the van but never fitted the beam so its still in my garage. The question is will it fit my late 1969 wide 5 westy. The sticker says 71 up and it has a servo bracket .I seem to think it wont as the lower mounting hole possitions moved when they went to small 5 pattern and discs. If this is true i will have to sell that beam as its in the way
Cheers

isnt it a simple matter of redrilling the holes? if you go the other way you have to weld on brackets.

You have to weld on brackets i think as the later van has a wider bolt patern apart from that are they diffrent in any other way

71 onwards refers to the servo bracket and is, to a point, irrelevant.

The beams changed to the differing mountings during 69, so you'll have to measure and check, the stud pattern is irrelevant, also.

Fingers crossed for you.

Had a look today seems the same so thats good just need to make up my mind if i want to lower this van as the beam on the van is mint so a bit of thinking is needed

If you don't use it I would buy it off you? Or even if you do fit it,I might buy the one you take off,I could do with a decent one as mine has been welded up a lot.
