Phoned and orderd a service kit for my Bay the other day which has turned up.
Thing is they (C&C) advertise Bosch or Lucas plugs but Beru plugs turned up.
Anyone used em? Are they any good?
Was going to ring up and have a moan but (this one time) im happy to fit them.
Itl be NGK's next year.

Beru are an OEM supplier for VW so quality is fine  :D Their parts seem to be German made more often than the Bosch ones these days too...
I didnt know that!

Have never been a fan of NGK plugs despite all the Jap bikes over the years, Bosch for me every time. The Alfa developed an intermitant misfire, took out the NGK twin electrode plugs and replaced with good old single electrode Bosch. Fault free from that moment on. Don't know where they are made but have always been top notch. Have used Beru stuff and again, no problems.

Sorry ^^^ that was the quick answer(i was at work, in works time ).
Yes, im very happy with them. Ive also set the carb, points, timing etc since fitting em and its never run so well.
Cant put it all down to the plugs but it shows that theyre doing the job properly.
Will definately use them again.

Beru are great, I was also sceptical about them once upon a time... but given that they are OEM parts used by Porsche I've been increasingly favouring (German manufactured) Beru over (often non-German manufactured) Bosch ignition parts.

No hesitation about using them, and even seeking them out as preferred parts! A+

Check the neck of ya BOSCH SPARKERS as some say bosch india, let me down after a month, sent them back to india via landfill boat and my spare set too.

just an observation.

jth

ps Beru for me, work fine.
