Hi,

I'm looking to remove and replace my indicator stalk/switch/cable. So far I've removed the indicator housing, but now I'm stuck on how I remove the cable.

It enters the lock housing and is hidden behind there. According to the Bentley manual the lock housing can be turned slightly to one side but not on all models. I removed the lock housing screws and tried but the housing will only move back and forth slightly.

So...
1. Is there a way to access this cable from behind the instrument panel?
2. How many wires are inside the cable and where to they connect to?

From the wiring diagram and from pictures of the cable I *think* there are 5 but I'm not 100% sure where they connect to...
1. Live from fuse box
2. Negative earth
3. Wire to instrument panel? (via a connector labeled T3.this then goes into flasher relay J2)

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

undo the 2 bolts that hold the plate to the bottom of the dash then you will be able to move it,also easier to get to wires if instruments are pulled back.
