I need one to carry two bikes, anyone got one on their bay?

Where did you buy it and does it fit well etc.? Pics would be great. ;)

Cheers.

have the pendle one that bluebird sell on mine. fits a treat. will carry up to three.there is no separations though, so if i have two on there, you have to be a bit carefull not to scratch them.heres a pic.

We have the Atera Strada tow bar mounted rack. Fantastically easy to use and beautifully made. Tilts and slides smoothly to give access to engine compartment and rear hatch. Not the cheapest option but I'd say it's the best.

Made to fit the Type 2 and a lovely bit of well engineered kit

Joval, word of warning about the one on ebay. very easy to nick bikes off. Had one on my van carrying 2 bikes. left bikes on while awya from van for 30 mins and someone cut the straps off the carrier to steal the bikes. Luckily i had padlocked the bikes and carrier to the rear bumper so they were on a heap in the road.

Thanks for the tip, I'll sort something secure. ;)

I've got a Fiammi rack that will hold 2 bikes, never used it yet but as said it was designed to fit the T2. The only real issue i have read about them is that because they sit over the rear hatch they can press on the rubber seal and allow water to get in.

We use a Fiamma one on Nora and had no problems with water leaks during last years rainy season. Bought it from Just Kampers.

I don't know whether it was here or on another forum but someone suggested getting a strip of magnetic plastic from a sign maker, roughly the width of the rear door and about 4 inches deep. This can then be fixed under the gutter and over the brackets to divert the rainwater away. If you are lucky you might get a close colour match to your van.

Does anyone know of a 4 bike rack for the T2? I've heared that halfords do one for a mk4 golf that fits the T2.

Matt.
