Hi, I am new to the VW Bay, as my last camper was a T25..... so just a few questions after reading about these buses
- Mine is a 1970, so is it right that it will be drum brakes ? ( I cant check as I am currently in the North sea, and only took delivery of it the day I was going away )
- What should I be looking at doing if it is ? what to buy ? discs, callipers, ???
- And what kind of price will I be looking at to upgrade this ( new and second hand )
- Is it an easy job ? or would I be better sticking it into somebody who does this day in and day out ?
- Also what would be a good suspension upgrade ? ( I know it has been lowered , but not sure about anything else )
- It is a 1600, and is flat as a fart, what is a basic not so expensive way to upgrade engine to start with ?
