BRM's and tyre sizes

I've got some MWS BRM's for my '71 Dormobile and need to know what tyres to get for them.

What will fit under the rear arches width-wise?

I've fitted early rear arches (instead of the flared ones it should have), so I'm not sure if the clearance is the same anymore (van is currently away being sprayed so don't know for sure).

I found with the MWS brm's you can only get a 175 wide on the rear and they are within mill's of the arch, I have seen 205's on dubberdaz's van (MWS also) but his is a 71 with the rear flared arch's and it sits lower than ours.
Try and find a friendly tyre station and try a cuple of different sizes

dont know if you have thought of this but when you lower it the tops camber in giving more room

I've got BRM's on my lowered '69, and can only get a 175 on the rear.

I have a '72 crossover with l8 flairs (70's man yea :lol: ) and 185's ....and they rub on corners...doesn't sound nice at all

The bus is 1 spline 'plus 30 yrs of sag' at the back, they were fine before it was lowered the one spline....
