hello,
it's been a while since I've been on here so please excuse me if this isn't the done thing.
I have made a nice bulkhead cover for my 1966 splitie. I believe them to be the same shape as an early bay but if I am wrong please correct me.
I have been making this for some time now but I have finally got it finished and ready for sale.

I was originally making it for a SO23 copy interior. I didn't like the sharp edges that the aliminium edges leave on the main center top so I decided to round them off, and in doing so made the job a whole lot harder ! but I think the results speak for themselves.
The two edge pieces I fitted over the B pillar so if you have door straps this bulk head cover won't be any good to you as the clips to the straps are covered.
This is the 1st time I have finished an interior piece using french polish to seal it ( two coats ) and then a coat of yacht varnish. It looks really nice.
I am asking £180 -which for the amount of time effort and top quality materials ( birch ply, french polish £30 1ltr, natural yacht varnish £42 2.5ltr) I think is a fair price.
Inc will be some screws and some screw cups so you can fit it to your van and show it off to it's best.
PLEASE NOTE ! WHEN I TOOK THE PHOTO THE SIDE PANEL WASN'T FIXED TO TEH VAN SO IT FLEXED OUT A BIT AND THERFORE MAKES THE LEFT HAND PANEL NOT LOOK LIKE IT HAS A NICE CURVE TO IT.
IT DOES, IT'S JUST A TRICK OF THE LIGHT. WHEN THE LONG PANEL IS FIXED TO THE VAN THE BULK HEAD PANEL IS MM PERFECT

Started decorating so I want this gone and out of the way before it gets damaged.
I've spent an age making this and it's highly unlikely that I'll be making another ! making the curve with now nails or screws on show (except a few along the bottom was a COMPLETE P.I.T.A.
Go grab a unique bargain !
