Hi, I am over on the late bay forum but we do not have much of a resource for lowering and i know you lot are the people to talk to regarding finer details
Basically, i have a std beam on front of my 1979 and have just put adjusters on the beam. I am down half way or slightly less on the adjusters, and am touching the front bump stops.
The rear is on adjustable plates, and also on the stops (rear stops had 2 bumps cut off)
It drives ok, i find the bouncy ride fun and it doesnt bother me at all, i am probably strange for saying that.
Should i cut off the front stops and re-adjust the suspension to the same sitting height so i have some more suspension travel in the front or is this pointless due to arch clearance? i dont have tubs. Same question for the rear, although i have heard that may require a notch.
Any advice welcome, thanks.
Shocks are fine and all sorted on the front.
