Bumper colours?????

Just thinking out loud really but what are peoples views on bumpers?
Is there an unwritten law that bumpers should be white or does anyone have theres a different colour?
Hopefully with in the next few weeks i'm going to be refurbing the wheels in a aluminium (silvery) colour (until i can afford the centrelines we like) and just wandering whether its worth doing the bumpers in the same colour. :?
Anyone thats got something different other than white please post a pic :msn4:

my van is neptune blue with lotus white roof which I'm also doing the bumpers in so poss not much help there. You can get the chrome bumpers (£££!) and I think I've seen some black but donn't have any pics. I've got some from Bristol Volksfest 2008 tho I was looking at wheels so there's not much bumper in some of them. maybe someone has some better ones.

I think it looks fine on some colours of van. I'm not a fan of the chrome ones though.

I've painted mine a slightly off white. A vw colour from halfords, alpine White. So easy to touch up when I scrape them :mrgreen:

Begining to see that now, as said it was just an idea.
Think that white is the only way to go.
Another question then is WHAT SHADE OF WHITE IS THE CORRECT SHADE?

I sprayed my bumpers with VW colours but they looked awful so in the end went for a vauxhall (polar, i think) white. :mrgreen:

I`ve just sprayed my front bumper
with white Hammerite smooth paint.
It came out really well and a
nice bright white colour.

Hi ,I have just finished painting my van in Lotus White with Cloud White bumpers and wheels. This is the correct colour going by the paint codes on the samba website.
Looking at the tins I couldn't see much different but on the van it looks great.
I will try and get some pictures on if I can.
