The stall and trade area is certainly geared towards families, there is a load of free stuff for kids - arts, crafts, face paint etc, a real variety of foods etc. There is also a adventure playground within the gounds. All cool 8)

and the kids entertainment marquee has loads of fun messy things to do like sticking and glueing and painting and stuff...

can anyone tell me the name of the owner of the EB (matrix bus I think) that won the EB display trophy last year?
I think the plan is to have a trophy that has the names of winners every year engraved that is given back to re-present (like the Brighton Breeze Best In Show) with another trophy the winner keeps and they want to engarve the 2010 winner on ready....
I know ..I know...I should have the name etched in my brain or written somewhere..old brain...sorry...

There are just 3 short weeks to go until Camper Jam 2011. Our team are excitedly planning the next instalment of what has become a wonderful weekend on the VW calendar!

So, what’s in store this year? Aside from the regular activities such as an excellent array of trade stalls, our fabulous “Real” Food Village, VDub Kids Club, a Fun Fair, our infamous Camper Jam K9 Show and the wonderful Druids Brew – we’ve added much more!

On the Friday evening – we will have the UK’s answer to the heady Sixties party vibe with Motown Magic taking to the main stage in Marquee One! Banging out your favourite Motown classics to get you into the swing of things! We ask you all to don your fanciest flares, biggest wigs and coolest shades to join us in getting the Camper Jam ’11 party started! There’ll be night trading and a party atmosphere around the site as everyone arrives and settles in – not to mention the delicious offerings from our larger Food Village too!

Saturday will see the return of our fun cookery events – the Barefoot Chef BBQ Challenge pits our resident VW Camper mag columnist Dave Richards against a willing challenger to create a Camper BBQ feast with a twist! Closely followed by our Cooking in a Camper Competition with this year’s meal being FISHCAKES – just ten spots available and a £100 up for grabs ... this is set to be our best yet! Both cooking competitions will be overseen by Martin Dorey of BBC show “One Man and his Campervan!”, so it’ll be all eyes on the prize!

Also on Saturday we have the Special Displays - : if you have a Westfalia Camper, a Syncro, a nice Interior (stock, bespoke or custom) a cool T4 or a Seriously Lowered Bus we would love you to join in! Visit info tent for details on the day. There will also be a line up for fancy dress buses with a prize for the Best Dressed Bus. The theme is the show’s SEVEN SEAS and you can include the area around the bus and people or characters, so show your creative side!

Saturday night will see Sixteen Stone Pig at the helm of Marquee One for the Camper Jam Fancy Dress party! Guaranteed to get you all swinging your pants – this band has become a much-loved hit with the Camper Jam crowd. For those who fancy a more “Disco” vibe we have the return of the amazing Glow Disco in Marquee Two – free UV paints and Glo-sticks for all! The Fancy Dress competition was fierce last year so make sure you check out the times to take part in the show guide – there’s a romantic weekend away up for grabs for the Adults so get your outfits organised to be in with a shot of winning!

Special Displays and the Show N Shine line-ups taking place on Saturday and Sunday will have your jaw-dropping. Choose the bus you’d most like to take home to enter into a prize draw!

Calling all pooch-lovers! The Camper Jam K9 Show moves to Sunday this year. Once again this is a very popular element of the weekend and we ask that you register nice and early to avoid disappointment. Rosettes and prizes .. and laughs! .. Guaranteed

There will be so much going on you’ll need all weekend to take it in. So – join us in what is to be the Biggest and Best Camper Jam yet!

See you there!

We're thinking about making this the first show we camp at, what do we need to do to get in the early bay area? Is it just a case of turning up or names on a list??

If you want to camp in the Early Bay area (or family) you HAVE to pre-book this. Paying Entry on the gate on the day means you will be directed to general or Home is where you park it.
Reason for this is basically to ensure toilet and space facilities on club plots and family camping is right..this year we will know exactly how many people / buses are in prebooked areas so can ensure enough toilets etc are ready on site waiting...
also prebooked will have diff entry lanes meaning less queueing time and are directed to their prebooked areas efficiently and speedily...
plus of course you save some money :D

Pre sales for tickets at discounted rates close this Thursday the 30th June!!

Pay on the gate after this date.

We'll be booking our tickets later tonight for the club camping so will hopefully be joining the earlybay area. Don't think we'll make it until about 8ish though so hope it doesn't get full too early

My mate has a day pass going begging if anyone wants it for free......he tells me its Sat/Sun, not sure if its both days as i havnt seen it or looked on the website to see what was/is available, if anyone is interested ill find out for sure.

Pm me if interested and sort it out.
