I've got one of these. Coleman duel fuel. Not cheap but a brilliant bit of kit.

Jeezus! I was lucky enough to find one of these in Costco a few years ago when they were retailing at £70. I paid about £20! I bought two and sold one on eBay for around £50. Still going strong.

the Coleman is good for outside /awning but I prefer something a bit easier and more convenient for in the van. Just my preference :)

Thats what I use, I have two for longer trips where more complex food is required  Small, quick and easy and cannisters are available almost everywhere.

I've got one of those single burner stoves, very handy and compact, cheap too.
Also have this on board most of the time, no messing with connecting pipes or the like. Awning up, table up and just plonk it on top,job done. Or use it where it is, also plenty of gas for heating big pots of chilli ;)

It is a genuine early'70s thing bought by my parents when they were experiencing regular power cuts....

In my opionion , from current experience ? do not buy an "Alfresco" , unless you wanna wait 20mins 4 toast ,or anything needing grilled>distance between flame and grill plate supplied is approx 100mm!

Hi I went for one of these

Only think is they use there own gas bottle but just as good as the coleman petrol stove above but much easier to use .( I have both)

twin ring and grill camping gaz ,as above bought by my folks when we had a lot of power cuts ,runs of either gaz or calor .

Pricy though, I have the little camp stove and some handy accessories that go with it like the toaster and heater, as said the gas is available from pretty much anywhere

Hi

I have this on my Westy sink unit

3kW wok burner - awesome, boils the whistling kettle in no time!

I am going to design it to swing out in the summer, but it's fixed for the time being....

I also keep this in the buddy seat and use this for outside cooking using the outside BBQ point:

And had one of these for ages, uses disposable cartridges
