A friend of mine slammed me passenger side door and the catch whacked against the window pillar and snapped clean off!!

Is it possible to find another? If so where from? and can it be done (replaced) or do I need to buy an entire quarterlight frame????????

A bit pissed off about it as the quarterlights are in mint condition and now my bus ain't secure no more.

Can you help?? :(

ive got a brand new replacement quarter light catch, still in its packaging from karman konnection, no longer needed, as i replaced the whole thing, as it was a rusty frame

It looks like a nasty job!!!

If anyone had a real good whole thing I might consider but if not the replacing the catch it is.

slammedresto - you got that catch still??

It is, you have to hand rivet them on with a hammer and a mandril, pain in the arse.

Its actually pretty easy, you can do it in situ,

You need to get the glass out of the frame which allows you to get to the catch, drill the old rivets out, find some pop rivets small enough to go through the holes ( I think I actually drilled my holes slightly bigger) You only want short rivets though, Then use a pop rivet gun to squeeze them up. You will find if you use small enough and shourt enough rivets they disapear themselves into the recesses nicely so don't interfere with the window closing.

Then replace glass job done.

Hardest will be getting the glass out if its never been out before.
