I'm doing a twin weber 34ich conversion for my bus the next hurdle I've come up against is the fuel inlet fittings. On the carbs I've got they protrude towards the fwd bulkhead with nt enough room to fit a hose without it kinking.
I've done google search and on the images many of theses carbs have an inlet at 90 degrees to the position mines at. Has anyone removed the original fittings, blanked and refitted the fitting in a different position?
I'm thinking 1/8bsp blanks and 1/8bsp x 8mm barbed fittings so id also need to drill and tap the a new hole. Or fit the original fitting back in and just tap the old hole for the blank. Are the o.g fittings glued in with thread lock or similar? I must admit I don't like the sound of that.
