chassis numbers on 71 bay

evening all, can someone tell me where the chassis numbers are on an early bay?? knew where ther were on my crossover, but need to know where they are on a 71 van.

just had quick serch around site, and i belive the number is in the engine bay on the right hand side as you look into engine.anyone confirm if this is correct?. also is it still on plate behind drivers seat on earlybays??

Yes, that is right, and there is another (well, there is on my 69... I can't remember if my 71 had this or not..) which should match on the front edge of the dashboard on the left side near the window seal..

Both right above you also have 1 on a plaque behind drivers seat on bulk head, not sure where this is if no bulkhead....mines a 71. Ben
